Peel Weave

Peel Weave
Peel Weave "Peel" refers to the skin found on the outer surface of a Rattan Pole. To enable it to be woven, it is shaved off the pole and cut into strands of uniform width.

These strands are then woven to create a flattish, closed weave look that is more flexible than Wicker Weave.

While it still displays strength and durability, the flexibility makes it ideal for use in Rattan seating and is used predominantly on Dining Chair and Barstool seats eliminating the need for a cushion.

Once woven, the furniture is stained and lacquered to the desired colour.

MAINTENANCE: Regular dusting with a soft damp cloth or vacuuming with a brush attachment is recommended to maintain your Rattan / Wicker Furniture. Any spill on the frame should be wiped off immediately with a damp cloth or sponge and a mild detergent.
